Start Supporting Comprehensive Sex Education Programs and End Congressional Funding of Abstinence-only Sex Education.

Created by S.H. on September 24, 2011

Abstinence-only sex education is largely ineffectual at preventing teen pregnancy, STI transmission, or sex among teens, while comprehensive sex education arms young people with the knowledge of how pregnancy occurs and how STIs are transmitted, causing healthier behavior and decision-making.

We the People believe that comprehensive sex education would reduce the number of teen pregnancies, thereby reducing the number of abortions and single parents. We also believe such education will also encourage people to be more careful and diligent in decisions regarding reproductive health and sexual activity.
