Start the transition to the world system of measurement in the United States, the Metric system.

While we are a proud and great county it is also important for us to realize when a change is necessary. We need to adopt the metric system of measurement in this great nation. We are one of three countries left in the world that continue to use the outdated imperial or English system of measurement. While I like most of you will at first find the transition difficult, in the end we as a nation will be better for it.
