Most countries use the metrics system, the US uses their own customary units which is fine but when we talk about trade and tourism we should hybrid units for example roads sighs using mph and kph, distance measured in both feet and meters or in kilometers and miles, temperature measured in Fahrenheit and Celsius, volume measure in both gallons and liters, mass in pounds and kilograms, or ounces and grams.
