For about 34 years war has been declared on the poor in the US. The poor, rather than WS and Corp America those who robbed us blind and still are, have become the enemy.
Mr. President, you will not even mention the poor or poverty. Please stop being afraid of the words. Especially the disabled poor, those on SSI live very much below the poverty level. It is not a crime to be disabled or elderly. They need your help. The poor in general need your help and need to stop being invisible to you.
Mr. President, do the right thing and begin another war on poverty. Show the country it is the moral thing to do and is the best thing for the economy as every dollar the poor are given go right back into the economy plus more! Every dollar spent in Food Stamps gives a return of $1.73.
