Start work on drafting a law to hold anti-vaxxers criminally liable for spreading preventable diseases.

The anti-vaccination movement is a national embarrassment and a growing public health crisis. The fact that we have formerly eradicated diseases such as whooping cough, measles and mumps infecting hundreds every year and killing more and more children each year nationwide is something that you'd expect in a third world nation not America. The anti-vaxxers as they are more commonly known are responsible for this resurgence in these diseases and until something is done to counter their ignorance no one is safe from catching a highly preventable disease. I'm asking the Obama Administration to draft a law to hold those that self-proclaimed anti-vaxxers, regardless of their reasoning, to be held criminally liable for their negligence and for endangering other's lives and children.
