Start “Prime minister's Questions” once a month in a Joint Session of Congress.

Created by J.S. on January 31, 2013

America’s version of Prime Minister’s Questions would involve the President receiving questions from members of both parties once a month for an hour in the British fashion.

An American name for this event, perhaps “Questions to the President” would promote dialogue between the parties, create accountability for prior promises, and provide great entertainment for the people.

Broadcast on C-Span, perhaps we could extend the show to an hour and a half, with that extra half hour reserved for commercials. The proceeds from those commercials could be used to pay down the national debt. I suspect that requiring the President to do this would take a constitutional amendment, but he could do it voluntarily until then.
