This is important because if a sex offendor in mn does not reoffend within 10 years and does it again it will be considerered a first offense. Sentencing is leniant and they are sentenced like its a first offense. My daughter was 1st degree sexually assualted at 5 by a man who had a prior 20years earlier of the same offense. He was charged like his first time and recieved minimal punishment. I feel MINNESOTA NEEDS TO STOP PROTECTING SEX OFFENDORS. If This would ever pass i would like it to be called AALIAHS LAW...Which would have no statue of limitation on sentencing for a reoffendor of any sex crime.
