State auditors have found that the State of Connecticut Veteran’s Home has overcharged Medicaid and Medicare in the name of Connecticut Veterans. VA grants are put into CT General Fund and used for State Wages expressly against VA posted regulations as the money is all mixed together. Private donations made out for the express purposes to help Veterans are put into Connecticut General Fund and not used for the veterans. Power of Attorney used to steal Veterans life savings. Retaliation, intimidation, bullying and fear used against Veterans.
We believe a criminal Investigation under the RICO ACT is needed at this facility. However, under Federal law this could cause funds to stop being dispersed to the Rocky Hill Veterans home and force it to close. We ask you suspend this provision.
