state that effort to support ban on chemical weapons is also a rejection of our own support for Iraq's use against Iran

the American people regret that actions taken in our past including the use of chemical weapons by our then ally Saddam Hussein against the people of Iran and the Kurdish people and insist that the United states Government make a clear statement that it rejects such actions on the part of any government including itself.
