The state of Kansas has failed to service the unemployed in the state. While they have a online system you can use, if for any reason you need to call in the phone lines are always full. You are asked for your personal information then told the lines are at capacity and hung up on.
I personally have been trying everyday for weeks to check on my EUC. My state benefits ran out around the time the extension was signed into law.
I would like to know what are the states are required to do regarding the issuing of EUC. Is there a requirement of service they must deliver to those receiving the benefits.
Are walk-in facility required, for those times the phone system is not working. Kansas doesn't have a location you can walk in and ask questions, you must use the online system or phone.
