New rules for overtime payment and exemptions must be equally applied to all USA Citizens, no matter if they are living and working in one of the states, or they are living in any territory. A USA Citizen in Puerto Rico works as hard as any one in the states; and they should not be blamed, neither they have to pay, for the bad decisions of the rulers.
The Congress of the USA must act to ensure that Puerto Rican workers in the island receive an equal compensation for realized job, as well as if they were working in any of the 50 States; because, after all, they are USA Citizens.
