States must and can govern themselves without fear of revenage from the federal government .

My petition is to remind the government that they get their power from the people , you don't get power over the people or the states that people live in ...It is my understanding that our revolution and our independence came from the idea that states have the right and should govern themselves without fear from the government ...This past election two states passed marijuana laws that would make it legal to have up to one oz of marijuana without criminal penalty ,but the federal government already is combating it ...Why on earth would you go against the same system that got you elected ,we must use the entire constituiton not the parts that benefit you .We must return to the foundation this country was built on if we don't I fear an armed revolution .
