In many states around the nation there are closed primaries that deny millions of voters from being able to partake in the process. This only hurts voter participation. Furthermore, these primaries are funded via tax payer money which results in a problem of taxation without representation. Our founding fathers went to war over the British Empire over such an issue, our states should reflect the Founder's principles and assure that, if they are to get tax payer money for elections or any primary system, that everyone be given the option to vote in EVERY party's primary process. Not just one.
The fear of a "sabotage" from the "other" has never been statistically proven, it should not be used here.
