The statue of a girl symbol of the " sex slave used by the Japanese soldiers during WW2" located in the city of Glendale

Created by Y.C. on January 09, 2014

The statue symboliZing the women of China, Korea, etc. used as a " sex slaves " by Japanese soldiers duringthe W.W.2 was erected in the city of Glendale, Ca. to alert people to remember the civil rights of individuals esp. during the war.
Pro Japanese people have denied the presence of these women claiming that they " were prostitutes for money:" instead of accepting their mistakes and apologizing. It is rumored that they are petitioning to remove the statue to the president to cover their wrong. Please keep the statue so that young people will learn not to repeat the same mistakes.
Thank you for reading and considering this petition.
