The Syrian Civil War has been a terrible humanitarian crisis. It started at a time when there were clearly many democratic movements taking place throughout the Middle East and North Africa. The brutal fighting now in the civil war is not a fight of good versus evil. We need to stay neutral, act as mediators when needed, offer humanitarian aid, and work with other countries to end this crisis.
Providing arms to anyone in this war will not help our standing in the world, and will only cause us harm.
