It's a common fact that the rebels are allied with known terrorist group Al-Qaida, and they're seeking to overthrow the current secular government in Syria in favor for a more radical Islamic state.
The "rebels" that are fighting in Syria are from Islamic nations all around the Middle East, and they have all gathered in Syria to fight secularism and promote Islamic theocracy. They engage in savage methods of war, including eating the raw liver and hearts of their enemies (innocent Syrians) and massacring entire villages in order to rid the country of any Christians or non-radical Muslims.
This war has claimed the lives of THOUSANDS of Syrians, and the once-beautiful country has now been reduced to shambles and ruin.
