Stay out of Syria. No US taxpayer money to take sides in a civil war with extremist elements.

There are massive doubts over the composition of the Syrian opposition, its ability to control anti-Assad forces on the ground and concerns about the rising number of Islamists in their ranks including the Islamist group, Jabat al-Nusra, designated a terrorist group by the US State Department, probably their most effective fighters. The national media has been openly promoting the idea of getting involved even though the majority of Amercans do not agree. We should not spend any taxpayer money on Syria, nor should we be training them or giving green lights to countries who arm them. Enough people have died there, we do not need to make it worse.
