Recently, you promised military support and other assistance to the Syrian rebels. We have many issues here in the United States that need to be fixed before we go on trying to solve the issues of the world. Our bridges are crumbling, our debt is out of control, and our economy is still in shambles. The money spent on supporting the Syrian rebels would be better spent on issues such as the ones listed above. Besides, we do not need or want another 1980's Afghanistan, which is directly responsible for the events that led to 9/11, or a lengthy conflict like the ones in Iraq and Afghanistan.
For the sake of our country, I beg you to stay out of the Syrian civil war.
