Let's face it. Oil, gas, coal and other non-renewable energy sources are a dying technology that cannot last forever. They pollute our air and our water, endanger the lives of the workers and those in nearby communities, and create more problems than they solve.
I propose that we seek out ways to quickly phase out those resources and replace them with solar, wind, hydro, tidal and other forms of safe energy that will sustain us for centuries to come. These technologies are tried and true, and offer ways to bring back millions of jobs while giving America the chance to become a worldwide leader again.
Our energy needs are growing, not declining, and we must act quickly to meet those needs by using cleaner, cheaper, and longer-lasting solutions.
