Petition for the incidents of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile to be set as precedent for a new Hands Off Law. This law shall be enforced to protect citizens who verbally profess to law enforcement during routine traffic stops that they are armed. The law shall be to wit: Any citizen who verbally professes to law enforcement that they are presently armed, or that a firearm is in plain view or concealed, whether on their person or inside the vehicle, and the citizen has the right to bear arms, shall not be reprimanded, apprehended, disabled, or have excessive force enforced by law enforcement based solely on the firearm itself. Any behavior by law enforcement other than stated above shall be punishable by law with a minimum of 20 years imprisonment, maximum imprisonment, life.
