During this fragile time in America's history, we the people needed a follow up season to True Detective that captivated the country and allowed us some reprieve from our collective daily grinds. Nic Pizzolatto royally screwed this up with an absolutely terrible season 2, putting our fragile country in jeopardy of increased levels of anger, frustration, and hopelessness. Vince Vaughn really contributed to this greatly as well, but the creator, Nic, is the one ultimately to be held accountable. Say you're sorry Nic, so we can move on. Onwards and upwards towards a more understandable and digestible plot line, and towards better casting decisions, incorporating real actors who are best for the roles, bringing together another dream team, like what Abraham Lincoln did, or Cary Fukunaga did.
