One of the biggest obstruction of technology innovation today is "Fake subsidies" by cell phone providers and thereby forcing customers to lock-in to 2 year contracts. This is more close to extortion and there is no meaningful regulation on pricing cellular and wireless services. Due to this America is falling behind in the innovation in this domain. Regulating these contracts and pricing would accelerate innovation and also helps small businesses to compete in bringing new technologies into the market. This also promotes standardization of technologies which works in favor of average American citizen with the "right to choose" what he/she likes.
We request to block this practice of Contracts and force Cell Phone carriers to follow a fair business practice.
