Too many animals are abused on a daily basis either because of a instability of an owner or for entertainment of sick minded people. We need to be the voice for these defenseless creatures and make it more difficult for animal abusers to be able to own them. Pet owners should have to obtain a license in order to prove they are capable of owning an animal and will not do harm to them. Those accused of animal cruelty should have license revoked indefinitely along with high fines and jail time.
