Stop ALL beatings of citizens by police officers.. Enough guilty and innocent alike have been abused by police.

ANY officer (s) of the Law who uses physical violence against a subdued citizen should be removed from uniform permanently. No part of the job calls for an individual officer to strike a citizen who is handcuffed or otherwise subdued. When this behavior does occur any officer or group of officers caught in the act of violence against a SUSPECT should all be held accountable including the ones standing on the sidelines watching the violence. They should all face assault charges and their Chief of Police should be reprimanded for the actions of those under his command. Enough reprimands and the Chief should be replaced. Those officers found guilty of assault should be banned from ever working in law enforcement again. Replace them with individuals who respect both the law and the citizens.
