Stop abuse of the H-1b foreign worker visa system by tightening the rules or eliminating it all together.

Created by M.A. on September 26, 2011

Corporations are laying off American citizens in favor of hiring foreign workers.

End this abuse by changing the rules to eliminate software and engineers from the H-1b visa system.
OR
Require companies pay to a $10K fee for each new H-1b visa application and pay a $5k fee for each H-1b renewal AND $5K fee for each H-1b worker currently employed at the time of implementing this rule.

Cut the amount of time an H-1b can be in this country to 2 years with only a 1 year renewal.

Require that only companies that are based in the US and are owned by a minimum 51% US citizen shareholders can apply for H-1b visas.
