Too many people are abusing the welfare system like it is a job. Please look into welfare reform as this is a large burden on tax payers. There are other ways to help than to just give people a free ride. It is understandable to need help from time to time. Maybe limit the use of welfare to 1 year regardless of how many children a person has. Maybe allow them to only collect it once per 3 years. So 1 year every 3 if they need it. Maybe, instead of just giving free money, provide a state or federal run daycare service for free to allow them the time to go to work. Or provide them with the needed education to work. The way I see it, had they been working to begin with, they wouldnt need welfare as they would be eligible for unemployment.
