We petition President Obama's Administration to stop wireless carriers, like AT&T, Verizon and others, from forcing the public to get enrolled in their data plan when the user merely uses smartphone for voice and/or texting service. The public should not be forced to pay fees for something they do not intend to use. Let the public choose and decide for themselves which internet or data service to use on their smartphones. The choice in using between the wireless carrier's data plan, public WIFI, personal WIFI at home or office should not be the prerogative of the carriers but the user themselves. We also petition the Obama's Administration to ask these wireless service carriers to refund data plan fees charged to smartphone users despite request not to be put in their data plans.
