Worldwide, since 9/11, there have been about 11,068 aircraft accident fatalities involving approximately 1,579 aircraft.
Worldwide, there have been no aircraft related terrorist deaths since 9/11
The greatest danger of an aircraft crash is from failure of the aircraft itself - or human error.
Why not refocus the TSA to examine every aircraft closely and verify maintenance records to help prevent deaths due to mechanical failure or human error?
And stop the groping of our people.
Each commercial aircraft could easily and effectively be fitted with a device that would allow the remote piloting and the safe landing of an aircraft in the unlikely event of a terrorist hijacking. This would eliminate the excuse to violate our rights.
