We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Stop accepting Syrian refugees until there are no more homeless U.S. veterans.

Created by B.P. on July 04, 2016

If we are unable to take care of our own citizens that have served this country, then how can we take on the resettling of 10,000 refugees? As if it isn't enough of an insult to our brave veterans that they have to sit and wait for treatment at VA facilities, an estimated 50,000 are living on the streets. It is a disgrace to those who have risked all only to come home and endure worse conditions then some did while on duty. We cannot set out to save the world while we have several problems at home.
