The American economy is down for the count, yet we keep spending time and money pursuing a mythical "peace" in the Middle East that neither side seems interested in achieving. We should not be lobbying countries like Bosnia to oppose the UN recognition of Palestine, we have our own problems that need attention. The Israel/Palestine conflict has nothing to do with the US; we should butt out and take care of our own business. We send billions of dollars (that we don't have) to Israel in the form of aid, what do we get in return for that aid? We see a lot of work done on the American side on Israel's behalf, what do they do for us?
