We the People demand that the Obama Administration put an end to it's plan to Raise the Federal Minimum Wage to $10.10 per hr.
While states have already raised the minimum wage on their own (to $8.25 in NJ for example), the Obama Administration is pushing to raise the Federal Minimum Wage to $10.10. Such a hike would significantly & adversely affect thousands of businesses accross the country. Handing people another almost 20% raise would competely alter how companies hire, in turn raising the already high unemployment rate, and likely cause inflation. The slice of pizza we are used to paying $1.75 for, would increase to $2.75 to cover losses incurred by the increased minimum wage...Leaving those the increased minimum wage is supposed to "help" in a more precarious position than before!
