We are in a financial crisis, we can not pay our federal employees, but we have the funds to send aid to other countries. In the 1980's we sent aid to help the Taliban and now our military members are being killed with U.S. weapons and by people that we trained.
I have done searches looking for aid totals and can not find a verifiable place to look at countries and amount of aid that we provide foreign governments and rebels of hostile governments.
