Stop Alabama's new law requiring public schools to have Christian prayer during the school day.

Created by M.W. on February 27, 2014

A key committee in Alabama's House of Representatives has pushed through a bill requiring teachers and students at all of the state's public schools to spend 15 minutes every morning in Christian prayer. This violates our countries idea of separation of church and state. It is also forcing young children to pray to a faith that they may not even belong to. This is not about a hate for Christianity its about forcing young school children to have a religion forced upon them when it is the parents job to decide if the child will learn a certain faith or not.
