The government has accrued a huge amount of debt. In order to balance the books and have this debt off our backs we need to look at every aspect. One way to help is to suspend all foreign aid until America has no debt, lower unemployment, less poverty, and an over all better state of living. By no means do I intend on this to be cruel to the countries/people receiving the aid, but as a family we have to take care of our own first. Going bankrupt is no good for anyone and no matter what the government representatives say... that is the direction we are heading, if we are not already there. The dollar amount is not as high as some expenses but it is money that could be used to pay the debt or provide aid to our CITIZENS who PAY taxes!
