We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

To stop all closures of Job Corps centers across America. Starting with Ouachita JCCCC in Royal, Ar.

Created by K.W. on June 28, 2016

Job Corp centers are vital to the communities they are in. They help train individuals in trade specific areas so they can become productive members of society and have the need to depend on government assistance. They train individuals between the ages of 16-24 and teach them how to become employable. DOL has already shut down one center and has announced that despite congressional support they are going to go forward with the closure of yet another center. This must stop.
