Stop All Foreign Aid to Afghanistan based on the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Afghanistan Opium Risk Assessment 2013.
Afghanistan is the world’s largest producer of opium, and last year accounted for 75 percent of the world’s heroin supply and will reach again to 90 percent this year.
Cease and Desist the following:
Help and assistance from the U.S. for the Afghanistan National Directorate of Security.
Funds from the CIA as part of regular monthly assistance from the U.S. government.
Negotiations for a new bilateral security agreement with the United States.
US troops to train Afghan forces or carry out operations against al-Qaida and other militant groups.
Rent payments to the Afghan government for the U.S. bases that would remain under the bilateral security agreement.
