At this time we are unable to maintain our own infrastructures. American workers are being furloughed, budget cuts are affecting every program funded by our government. Everything from special education programs to military support services are being cut back and are suffering. However, in the last week, over $300 million has been given in foreign aid to Syria and Egypt alone. How can we justify supporting other countries when we cannot even take care of our own children or military personnel?
