The federal government continues to use foreign aid as a strategic crutch. That money could be used to reduce deficits and balance the budget here in our country. The United States strives to provide to those in need but will be of little benefit abroad if there is no more help to send. In the long run a stronger and more fiscally equipped United States will benefit not only our nation but the world. We must balance our budget, reduce our debt, and invest in America's future.
