We currently give vast amounts of monies to leaders or foreign nations and groups helping to expand democracy, rebuilding war-torn nations, supporting needed people. Although much of this aid is needed, little actually gets to it’s intended targets. The federal government should leave the business of foreign aid and let it be done by private individuals and groups. Many groups providing support to the needed do it at a much lower cost than the federal government ever will. By eliminating the aid and paying off the deficit, the American people’s taxes can be reduced in time. Americans are traditionally generous people and will support the causes that need support. Let us decide who we want to aid.
