Stop all foreign spending to other countries in aid that is needed at home. It would greatly reduce the national deficit

If the US would stop ALL foreign aid/spending for 5 years, a variety of events would take place. 1. The money could help those in need here in the US. 2. The foreign countries would be forced to be accountable for their own people. 3. The national deficit could be drastically reduced due to less spending. It is time for the American government to start taking care of its OWN PEOPLE and stop trying to take care of the entire world. We have always been the police of the world and the repercussions are disasterous. The government has gotten to big and needs to trim the fat starting with all the foriegn aid/ spending. The US also needs to stop sending food to other countries when our own food banks across the nation are empty. We need to start taking care of our starving and homeless children!
