Stop all foreign spending to reduce our budget

We talk about balancing the budget. But what are we really doing to accomplish this?
President Obama why don’t you just head up the initiative with congress to stop all foreign spending? This includes our contributions to the defunct and weak United Nations.
We borrow billions of dollars only to throw it away overseas when we have great needs right here in the USA. Stop sending this borrowed money out, stop borrowing that money to send outside our borders.
We as a government have talked about lowering the deficit and balancing the budget yet we keep up this insane borrowing, spending and sending the same money to other countries.
How much would we save? We are not the bank and police of the world so if we completely stop those activities we will save hundreds of billions each year going f
