Not one government official should pledge anything to one person or organization.
The "oath of office" is a pledge to the country and people and all that is needed.
A pledge to one person or lobbyist should be banned, this is just wrong and not what they were elected to do!
Government officials are elected by a majority and serve the majority, not any kind of single entity, it should be unethical and banned!
