Stop all prosecutions under Espionage Act of 1917 and pardon those already convicted under it such as John Kiriakou.

Created by P.N. on June 08, 2013

John Kiriakou was convicted for whistleblowing on the Bush Torture regime while he was part of the CIA. We should look forward, not backward, by pardoning him from his current 30 month sentence. We wouldn't know about the waterboarding if it wasn't for him!

Obama's administration has prosecuted more people under the out-of-date 1917 Espionage Act than all other administrations combined. These prosecutions are usually motivated by a desire to keep government secrets secret from the people. The people have a right to know what their government is up to!
