Stop all tax-payer (government) funded programs supporting those who are able to work and don't.

Created by K.A. on February 07, 2014

The government spends excessive amounts of taxpayer money to support such programs as unemployment, welfare, and food stamps. Most of the people on these programs are not working not because they can't find jobs or are unable, but because they are unwilling. The government is too big to regulate this well.

I think that we should go back to people who need help being supported by charities. This will make sure that those who need help are still getting help, but those who don't won't be able to take advantage of the system (and hurt our country) so much. There are A LOT of resources out there, and most people I know, myself included, would (and do) donate to those who actually are in need.

(This does not need to include doing away with programs for disabled or veterans.)
