Stop all telecommunications mergers until they commit to true net neutrality and proper and affordable access for all.

Created by R.W. on May 19, 2014

We must oppose any further consolidation in the telecommunications industry. This means blocking the merger of Comcast with Time Warner Cable. The merger of AT&T with DirecTV. Any further consolidation in the mobile phone carriers. In every case it has led to less choice, worse customer service, and higher prices for all of us. The most current example is the head of Comcast already saying that they would in fact implement data caps on all of their customers as soon as this year. This will kill innovation on the Internet. It will make it more expensive for us all. It will hurt many if not all of the people in this country and it must be opposed. In many parts of this country we have no choice but the dominant carrier in our area. They also collude to prevent price competition.
