STOP ALL THESE SCHEMING RED LIGHT PROGRAMS THAT ARE UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Created by L.V. on February 24, 2014

Photo enforcement programs bring about some disturbing violations of several amendments to the Constitution (the 5th and 14th for due process and the 6th for the right to face witnesses against you), they also violate Federal laws governing the issuance of summons (both criminal and civil). In San Diego, where red-light cameras were introduced in 1996, a class action lawsuit charges that the cameras are inaccurate, intrusive, unscientific, indiscriminate, and a revenue-generating scheme for the city. Law enforcement should exist to protect the citizens of this country, not make profits for their cities, townships, counties, or states by using these expensive and faulty systems.
