It is hurting the American economy - The United States' economy has been progressively getting worse and worse since the beginning of this war and the American people are suffering. Practically everything has risen in cost, most noticeably gas prices, and many people are having trouble keeping up. It is not fair that American people are being penalized for a war that many do not even believe in anymore. Many did support the war in the beginning, but now it has lost very much of it's support and America is supposed to be for the people by the people. The government should listen to the people.
