Each day thousands of animals all over this country are being killed in our local shelters! Although so many rescues and animal advocates are doing everything possible to rescue these animals the shelters are killing more and more animals than ever before! I am ashamed that our country allows innocent adoptable animals to be slaughtered at record numbers! The employees of these city/county ran shelters must be held accountable and must be required to do more than just kill these animals!! Educating the communities and spaying/neutering every animal that comes in the shelter should be priority. Let us all work together to become a no kill nation and stop the killing!
