Stop allowing American families to be torn apart by deportations. It affects not only the families but our economy.

While we are spending $12500 to deport one individual, we are also stimulating an increase in usage of government programs for separated families. Families are looking to the government to help them make ends meet. Families are losing their homes. The parent being removed from the family is no longer able to support the family or participate in family life. Nor are they able to pay child support. America is being fooled to believe that only immigrants with felonies or major crimes are being deported. Families are being torn apart because their partner is simply here without a Visa. This is inhumane. Keep these families together and generate a way to reunite these families. The path to adjusted status could be less complex as well.
