Stop allowing big agribusiness from putting family farmers out of business by contaminating their crop then mowing it.

Currently, when big agribusiness develops a GMO(genetically modified organism), it can copyright the organism. They sell these seeds to farmers who in turn grow the crops. When pollen from these GMO pollinate their neighbor's non-GMO crop, and contaminates the genes, that non-GMO farmer owes royalties to the big agribusiness. If not paid, their crop is killed, putting the farmer out of business. Signing this petition is to show support that this practice needs to be stopped and our local farmers, and society, need to be protected. Likewise, the agribusiness responsible for the GMO should be responsible for the pollen, and anything else it creates.
